The CMI Level 5 Certificate in Project Management qualification covers two different topics as follows. You’re a manager and you’ve had a good idea. First, you’ll need to research it and come up with some costed options to present to your manager (that’s unit 524). Once you have the green light you’ll need to plan and deliver the project perfectly (that’s unit 513).

CMI Level 5 Certificate in Project Management
The is a standalone qualification in Project Management. These units also contribute to the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. So you will have a Project Management qualification and two fewer units to study for the main CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership qualification (which leads to Chartered Manager status).
